“Why is it that hate comes out so easily, yet...love? It gets trapped inside.”
I hate you Sulekha….. I posted a blog with this title few days back but deleted it later on. I posted this blog as a symbolic expression to let my friends realize that they are criticizing Sulekha for non issues. However people could not understand my intention and believed that I have also joined the fray to criticize Sulekha. Those who know me closely are aware of the fact I can never hate Sulekha. I love it like my family. So I feel very upset whenever I see my friends criticizing Sulekha on petty issues. But as you see, it has become a fashion to criticize Sulekha.
Earlier it was reward points. Then ranking system, feature blogs, then top bloggers, now noted bloggers and active bloggers. I have been to may sites before joining Sulekha. Who knew Yash Chhabra, even my next door neighbor may not know about me, however in virtual world people know me all over India. Thanks to Sulekha, I have got wonderful friends.
Sulekha has given us a platform to express our ideas. And we have to pay nothing. Team Sulekha provides us all the facilities to explore our talent. We should be thankful to them for all their efforts. Yes, lapse may be there, but who is perfect, are we?
We may have regrets and reservations too. But there are ways to express our regrets. We may send notes to them. And I have ever found them quick and positive in their response to my notes. But it seems, few of my friends, don’t like to send notes, they love to criticize Sulekha in their blogs. This is unfortunate. And see the greatness of Sulekha Team, they never delete such blogs and even show them in most viewed and most commented section. Which site will provide such a liberty to its bloggers ?
A young boy joined our company 5 years back. He is ever criticizing our company. He would ever say ..bakwas company hai..Once I asked him if he doesn’t like this company, why he doesn’t leave it and join some other company? He has no answer to my question but till date, he is ever criticizing our company for non issues.
I feel If Sulekha put shutters down for a week; we will find our self like fishes out of water. I have experienced it on other site. It is also a wonderful site like Sulekha. Its owner who was a great poet and friend of mine died at young age. His family closed the site temporarily to get settled down. During those two months, I have received hundreds of emails from my friends all over the world expressing their uneasiness due to absence of our site. We were just restless moving here and there to find a platform to share their poems to kill the time as we were assured that site will reopen. I think most of us are addicted to Sulekha same way.
Any way they joined various sites and I luckily joined Sulekha during that period. Honestly speaking, I also joined here to kill the time. When that site reopened after two months, there were jubilations. All of them came back to that site. I too rejoined there, however I stayed here too as I found this site equally wonderful. I told you about this site only to let you realize, how painful it is to remain without the site which you love like your family.
It is a family site for me; I love it more than any thing. I love you all like my family members even those who have been criticizing this family. I feel we should realize the value of what we have and appreciate it.
Most of the members are mature enough and sincere too. I wonder what lead them to go to such extent. We are here not merely for fun; we have some social responsibilities too. We have to give back to society whatever we can give. One thing which costs nothing, we can give easily, that is love. Let us spread love and cheers around the corridor of Sulekha and make it a more healthy and happy family

By posting at Sulkha, Yash, do not forget that you are helping Sulekha more then they are helping you. They are collecting contents out of you and thus remain on top of all search engines. Thus they get more ad. revenue.
You must know how these things work, and how to make money out of social network.

Dear yash,
When we are in Sulekha, we feel comfortable in it. We post blog, enjoy the creativity ourselves. We are elated if it is recommended. i personally feel superb sense of joy when I receive comments on my blogs.
I agree some of the actions of Sulekha moderators are incomprehesible to me. They have some set of unwritten parameters and decide which post is offensive which is not.
So far, I have nor experienced any humiliation .
Sulekha has become my habit. it is platform, which gave me friends like you and others. With all those friends and you, my retired life has become immensely enjoying.
How can I live without Sulekha.
Like you I also joined many networking site. I got disillusioned after some time. Now, i have decided better love the way things what is offered in the platter or get lost as an obscure in the word.
Choice is mine.
Regards
Chanchal
